Getting Started or Honing your Skills

Run by accredited instructors, Introductory Lessons cover general horse awareness and handling techniques including saddling, mounting, and basic horsemanship. Progressive Lesson sessions are available for those willing to improve their riding ability over several days or weeks.

Undertaking a 1 hour lesson is a great way to increase confidence and brush up on skills. All sessions are held on the Karoonda Property at our stable yards. Participants with no recent riding experience will benefit most if a 1 hour trail ride is undertaken with us prior to the lesson to become more settled in the saddle.

Cost: $30.00 per hour per student standard rate
         $80.00 for 3x1hr lessons within one week
Group sizes: 3 to 8 persons (Private instruction also available)
